Following on from the success of our previous events, Manchester Made will return to Waterside this year with the Manchester Made Exhibition, an open call exhibition featuring selected two and three dimensional art and craft in the Lauriston Gallery from 3 May to 27 July. Alongside the exhibition will be the Manchester Made Summer Craft Fair on Saturday 19 July upstairs in The Chambers - a selected table top craft fair of high quality handmade contemporary craft.

We are delighted to welcome Claire Turner, director of Comme Ca Art, as this year's guest juror for the Manchester Made Exhibition.
About Comme Ca Art:
Established in 1994 by gallery director Claire Turner, Comme Ca Art has been part of the Manchester art scene for over thirty years.
In the early 1990s Comme Ca Art pioneered the creation of alternative exhibition venues throughout Manchester City Centre, launched the Comme Ca Art Prize in 2003, awarding winning artist, Paul Rooney a £10k cash prize before opening a gallery in NYC's Chelsea district in Manhattan a few weeks later.
Comme Ca Art's longstanding relationship with the Lowry Hotel recently celebrated over twenty years of exhibitions in Manchester's only 24 hour gallery within the hotel, curated by Comme Ca Art.
In autumn 2015 Comme Ca Art opened the doors to the brand new CCA GALLERY at Hope Mill in Ancoats, Manchester. As well as working on an enviable Exhibition Programme, including the Comme Ca Art X AWOL Studios Open Call Exhibition, the gallery is used for Meet the Artist Brunches, Pre-Preview Viewings and Artists in Residence.
Art works have been procured by art collectors from all over the world including the USA, Europe and Australia.
