Edy Hurst - Edy Hurst Thanks Every Member of the Audience with a Unique and Bespoke Act of Gratitude

Celebrated Comedian Edy Hurst (“Effortlessly Funny” ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ NDSreview) is so glad you’re here. And you’re here. And you are too. But talk is cheap, and in this economy, we need action. The handbrake is down, and the engine of Cheers is going chugga chugga. Take your seat and prepare for a unique act of gratitude from a man that has really taken on too many hobbies to not share them. Will everyone be uniquely gratted before time is up? What does it mean to say thank you? Choo choo!

Canter Semper

Canter Semper are a vocal trio based in South Manchester with a soul/folk/jazz sound. Though they've performed together for many years, they have begun to diversify their live sound by working with a loop pedal, using patches and loops to create larger soundscapes and rich, blended layers.

Kerry Leigh - ME TOO

A comedy cabaret performance exploring deeply personal themes. Sexual Assault isn't funny. However, the normalising of how common it is for women to be assaulted, cat-called and objectified from a young age that it's almost become a perverse rite-of-passage, is absurd. Kerry finds the humour to take back the power from the silly perpetrators, using her beloved uplifting and hilarious performance style that audiences enjoy connecting with so much.

Holly Redford-Jones - Stars in her eyes

In this new work-in-progress performance, Holly pulls at the threads of growing up in Chesterfield and her tendency towards nihilism, inherited from her mum. But what if life could be a little more whimsical? Under strict instructions to not write jokes about her mother (because what’s the point in jokes?), Holly turns her attention to your mum – breaking down the unwritten rules of playground banter and cynicism along the way.

-

Ben Hodge - Ben Hodge is unbearable

A stand-up show investigating becoming a trans elder at 26, the gay bear scene and the crazy nuances that my transness and queerness have to offer. The show is currently in development, and I am seeking opportunities to perform the first iteration. The show so far contains themes such as transness, sexual health, fatness and MASSIVE queer vibes.
