Manchester Made Winter Craft Fair 2026 Applications Now Open!

The Manchester Made Craft Fair returns to Waterside for the winter edition on Saturday 28 November. The event will again be a well presented table top fair of high quality handmade contemporary craft and design. Applications are currently welcomed from professional artists and craft practitioners. 

Waterside Arts and Creative Industries Trafford are once again working in partnership with Jo Lavelle from A Great Find to organise the fair. Jo is also co-founder of Sale Arts Trail and Manchester Jewellery Week.

Information for applicants:

- Selections will be made by Michelle Keeling, Visual Arts Curator at Waterside and Jo Lavelle from A Great Find.

- Selections will be made to create a good balance of disciplines across the fair, also taking into consideration the need to show variety to any returning visitors.

- The winter craft fair will take place on Saturday 28 November in and around The Chambers and The Studio, upstairs at Waterside in Sale, Greater Manchester. The fair will be open to the public from 11am - 4pm.

- The deadline for applications is Sunday 20 September. Everyone will be informed of the outcome of their application whether successful or not by Monday 28 September, therefore if you do not hear from us, please email [email protected]

- The cost of participation will depend on table size:

  • Small table top includes the use of a 750mm x 1500mm table = £70 incl. VAT
  • Large table top includes the use of a 762mm x 1828mm table = £80 incl. VAT.
  • Small open space for artist’s own display @ 750mm x 1500mm = £70 incl. VAT
  • Large open space for artist’s own display @ 750mm x 1800mm = £80 incl. VAT.

Applications are accepted from those living or working in and around Greater Manchester.

Application Images

- Applicants can submit up to 3 images representing the style of work they wish to sell at the craft fair. Ideally one image should show an example of a previous stall, to give the organisers an idea of your presentation style (however this is not essential if not available)

- Images should be supplied as jpegs (landscape or portrait) at a maximum file size of 1MB per image. Please label the images with your name and a number for each image. Due to the high number of applications, images not labelled correctly will not be considered.

- Images can be sent via email to [email protected] or a link to a google folder or outlook folder can be submitted via the form below.
