The Manchester Queer Art Market will take over the Ballroom!

Join us at Pride in Trafford as Manchester Queer Art Market brings its vibrant, joyful and proudly queer marketplace to the festival!

Since launching in 2022, Manchester Queer Art Market (MQAM) has been championing LGBTQ+ creatives from across the North. Created by local artists Ben Saunders & Ben Hodge, the market grew from a simple idea: queer artists deserve welcoming, safe and celebratory spaces to share and sell their work.

At a time when most LGBTQ+ markets were based in London or Brighton, MQAM stepped in to fill the gap - giving Northern queer artists a platform that truly reflects and uplifts their identities. What started as a response to exclusion in traditional craft markets has now grown into a thriving not‑for‑profit organisation supporting hundreds of artists from Manchester and far beyond.

Expect a buzzing line‑up of artists, makers, and creators offering everything from prints and ceramics to jewellery, textiles, photography and more.

MQAM also proudly invests in its local LGBTQ+ community by providing paid opportunities for queer photographers and videographers, alongside volunteering roles for those looking to get involved.

If you are interested in trading with MQAM contact them directly.
