EVENT INFORMATION

Actors Shona and Christian have just started working together on a true crime docudrama. Christian plays a cruel abuser-turned-killer. Shona plays his survivor. As filming progresses, their feelings for each other grow – along with fear, self-doubt, frustration and a creeping sense of danger.

On Me tackles the urgent themes of Gender Based Violence, female safety and the challenges of post-#MeToo relationships.

Stick around after the show for a 30 minute Q&A discussion with the cast and crew, plus Dr Caroline Miles and David Gadd (University of Manchester) and representatives from Trafford Rape Crisis and Trafford Domestic Abuse Service.

Tickets are 'Pay what you can'. There is an option to add a £2 donation to your ticket which will go towards Trafford Rape Crisis and Trafford Domestic Abuse Service.

Content warning: Rape, sexual assault, physical abuse, stalking, death (specifically femicide references), sexism, alcohol use.

Staff from Trafford Rape Crisis and Trafford Domestic Abuse Service will be on hand throughout and after the show to support anyone affected by the themes of the play.
