The Chambers

The Chambers is a venue bursting with atmosphere, charm and character, the grand, stately room has been immaculately preserved since the 1930s when it was built to host the meetings of Trafford Council. The oak panelled walls are lit with plenty of natural light, by the three large windows. Tables and chairs can be arranged or removed to suit the needs of the meeting or conference.

Robert Bolt Theatre

The Robert Bolt Theatre is a modern, versatile, mid-scale performance space. It is a superb venue for conferences to audiences of up to 346. The raked seating, which folds when unoccupied, has an easy access central aisle and no obstructed views. The staging is customizable and removable, making it fully adaptable to each event.

The theatre can also meet the technical demands of any Conference. The theatre is equipped with a high-spec PA system and lighting rig which are operated by in house lighting and sound technicians.

For the hard of hearing, there is a Hearing Loop System and three professional dressing rooms which can be used for speakers or break out rooms.

The versatility of the space means it can be transformed from a theatre into a space which accommodates tables and chairs seating up to 150 people.

The Studio

The Studio is a smart, carpeted corner room available for meeting, classes and workshops. It is brightly lit by three large floor to ceiling windows which overlook Sale town centre. Tables and chairs can be arranged or removed to suit. The Studio is next door to The Chambers and can be used as a break out room or secondary meeting space.

'Sup Bar & Coffee House

The Bar at Waterside has recently been re-furbished and is suitable for small and moderate meetings alike; it has natural light and a pay bar which can be opened for delegates to purchase their own refreshments. The Bar is also suitable for more informal events such as drink receptions or networking opportunities after larger events

Waterside works closely with our catering suppliers who offer the finest quality breakfasts, lunches, snacks and corporate catering. All food is prepared fresh daily and contains no preservatives or additives and is GM-free.
