→ MoreArtist development at Waterside is delivered through Creative Industries Trafford (CIT) which was established when the venue first opened in 2004.
The project presents a year-round programme of workshops, networking events, talks and masterclasses from leading artists and industry professionals across a number of fields including literature, visual arts, theatre-making and animation.
Our programme includes the Northern Lights Writers Conference, Meet The Puppet Masters animation conference, along with Breaking Ground for theatre-makers, the Curator Incubator initiative and short courses for writers.
CIT events and opportunities are open to all regardless of their location. Most events can be booked online (via links below), though events with an application process can only be booked via Waterside's box office.
