Alone on the night shift, two female data analysts monitor radio waves for signs of alien contact. Every shift is the same. But tonight is different. Tonight is the night they’ve been waiting for. The award-winning Footprint Theatre presents Signals, a show about human connection, space exploration and Jaffa Cakes. A new dark comedy that asks how it feels to be lost in the cosmos with only each other for company. Shortlisted for Underbelly and New Diorama's Untapped Award 2018 and Les Enfants Terribles' Stepladder Award 2018.
Footprint Theatre is an award-winning small scale touring theatre company established in 2014. It was founded in Sheffield out of a desire to make work for more intimate audiences in minimalist spaces. Collaboration is at the heart of everything we create. We prioritise the creative process over the final performance as we work together to craft intricate stories and detailed worlds. Footprint remains dedicated to exploring big ideas in uncomplicated ways. Previously our work has been performed at theatres such as New Diorama, HOME, Royal Exchange Theatre, Sheffield Theatres and Theatre Delicatessen.
