MYT Productions proudly presents their 10th anniversary production:

And All That Jazz...

Following on from GHOST, The Addams Family, A Chorus Line and 2018’s heart-wrenching and powerful production of PARADE, MYT Productions return to Waterside to celebrate their 10th anniversary with one of the most famous Broadway classics of all time!

Set in the legendary city during the roaring “Jazz Hot” 20s, Chicago tells the story of two rival vaudevillian murderesses locked up in the Cook County Jail. Nightclub star Velma’s serving time for killing her husband and sister after finding the two in bed together. Driven chorus girl Roxie’s been tossed in the joint for bumping off the lover she’s been cheating on her husband with.

Not one to rest on her laurels, Velma enlists the help of prison matron Mama Morton and the slick lawyer Billy Flynn, who turn Velma’s incarceration into a murder-of-the-week media frenzy, thus preparing the world for a splashy showbiz comeback. But Roxie’s got some of her own tricks up her sleeve...

The Broadway revival holds the record as the longest-running musical revival and the longest-running American musical in Broadway history. It is the second longest-running show in Broadway history, behind only The Phantom of the Opera. The West End revival became the longest-running American musical in West End history.

Winner of six 1997 Tony Awards® including Best Musical Revival. Chicago has also been honoured two Olivier Awards, a Grammy® and thousands of standing ovations.

It’d be criminal to miss this!
